Don’t miss the next event in our Berlin exhibition series:

Join us for a panel discussion with Raha Salti @rashasalti Raju Rage @raju_rage Hiba Obaid @hiba.obaid.fm Kawthar El-Qasem, and Imad Gebrael @imadgebrael moderated by Lama El Khatib @kraeuterquatsch

Documenting and archiving serve as powerful tools in challenging mechanisms of erasure and silencing, countering epistemic violence and disrupting hegemonic narratives and historiographies. Which formats, methods and strategies do we employ in order to critically engage with and create alternatives to archival knowledge embedded in colonial paradigms? How do we re-centre marginalised, delegitimised and devalued bodies of knowledge, thereby also making use of the transformative potential of archives and the act of archiving itself?

Taking up and expanding on the topics of the opening panel, the discussion will allow for an analysis and reflection on archives and resistance, not least opening up a space in which decolonial futurities can be imagined.
