#CommunitiesSolidarischDenken – Reflections on sustainable community collaboration V -Cooking with(in) memories

CommunitiesSolidarischDenken now in its fifth year and celebrating a mini-anniversary with the theme of ‘identities’.

This is because our solidarities and alliances are built in many ways on identities that anchor historical and contemporary struggles, discourses, visions and alliances on the basis of lived realities. As identities are fundamental to our intersectional work, we often accept many of our notions of identity unquestioningly. However, the empowering processes of identities, such as the struggles to shift from descriptions of other to self and the potential for collective action, are often antithetical to current discourses that shift the meaning of identities from describing lived realities to create dialogue, to something that can be embraced and discarded.

We have addressed these and many other questions this year and, like last year, have once again designed the publication in two parts. The result is the recipe book, which you can download here or pick up from our office, because: The way to the heart is through the stomach. You can enjoy a heart-warming and comprehensive documentation, digitally, as a print version, in German spoken language, English spoken language and German sign language.

We are currently working on consistent translations in all three languages.
