pronouns: they/them

My main areas of interest are empowerment, disabilities,  queerness, intersectionality as well as the criticism of discrimination in the German language and (concepts of) awareness, from the perspectives of queer Black diasporic movements. Central to my work are post- and decolonial theories, Black Feminist Thought, and colonial continuities & narratives in the connection of theory and practice. I studied Social Sciences (B.A.) with a focus on Gender Studies, Education, and Political Science.

Besides the implementation of the thematic foci in the form of networking and through the joint conceptualisation & implementation of different interdisciplinary (educational) events in the shape of conferences, readings, film screenings, performances, workshops, roundtable discussions, symposia, etc., I am also the general contact and responsible for a coherent overall concept for all projects of xart splitta.
